Invited lecture, Asian Forum of Aesthetic Surgery (AFAS 2026)

Dr. Kwang-Seop Chung took part as an invited speaker at the AFAS (Asia Forum of Aesthetic Surgery) conference held at COEX in Samseong-dong, Seoul. Here is the report from the venue.

He lectured on "Renuvion Helium Plasma, From Fat Removal to Skin Contraction: A New Standard in Body & Face Contouring".

More than an introduction to a procedure, the lecture drew on over 31 years of liposuction experience to discuss in depth how energy-based skin contraction has evolved and how next-generation body and face contouring with Renuvion helium plasma is designed.

Drawing on thousands of operations over decades, Dr. Kwang-Seop Chung has continued researching how to solve skin laxity after liposuction.

The lecture went beyond the limits of conventional liposuction, sharing clinical data on a precise protocol that combines Renuvion helium plasma with RF energy to remove fat and contract skin at once, on energy settings by area, on improving safety, and on achieving natural body and face volume lines.

His detailed technique for cases of reduced skin elasticity, and for complex cases needing contour correction after liposuction, drew particular interest from the practitioners present.

At AFAS 2026 Dr. Kwang-Seop Chung again joined the academic exchange, discussing skin-contraction technology, the direction of energy-based procedures and individual body and face design with colleagues from Korea and abroad.
