BONITA REMOVAL & REBUILD
Forehead, Chin & Cheek Revision
Fillers and foreign material in the forehead, chin and cheeks, removed, and the hollows filled
Bonita's Approach
Correcting it again is harder than the first time
Reconstruction after cosmetic complications starts from tissue that has already been operated on
That is why the removal area and the shape left afterwards both need to be planned in advance

For You
Typical complication symptoms
Inflammation of the treated area
Calcification at the treated site
Skin necrosis
Vascular occlusion in the skin
Skin ulceration
Filler, Complications from illegal procedures
Once complications from illegal procedures, fillers or foreign materials begin, the skin turns lumpy or hardens, and in severe cases progresses to necrosis, tumours or calcification.
With illegal procedures, complications often appear after five years and become harder to treat over time.
We recommend treatment as early as possible.
BONITA REMOVAL & REBUILD
From the cleared space, the way back to a face that is yours again
As much as the skill to remove foreign material precisely, it takes the judgement to revive the collapsed tissue left behind.
How it works
We don't stop at removal — We also consider the space left after removal
This cross-section is for illustration only. The actual extent and method are decided based on your condition.

Process
No pointless repeat sessions PROCESS
Before repeating removal, we first check by ultrasound where the remaining material is and the state of the tissue
STEP 01
Ultrasound check
Filler or foreign material that can be felt or is lumpy, and substances of unknown composition
Before the procedure, we first use ultrasound to check the location and size of the foreign material and how far any side effects have progressed.
We also ask when the original procedure was done and about your symptoms, and check for inflammation or hardening.
STEP 02
Removal
Foreign material stuck to surrounding tissue
Foreign material is removed manually or with a micro-cannula.
Where it has clumped and adhered, the adhesions are released and the material removed while limiting tissue damage.
STEP 03
Filling
Worried the area will sink after removal
If hollowing remains, fat is suctioned from areas where it is not needed and grafted into the removal site.
The timing follows the tissue's condition.
STEP 04
Follow-up · refinement
Marks and texture are refined with combined lasers, and if any material remains, we reassess after observing the progress.

Recovery
Right after treatment
Swelling and bruising may occur. We explain how to use compression and cold compresses.
During recovery
As swelling goes down, the contour of the treated area appears.
As it settles
This is when the removal and restoration areas stabilize, and we judge whether any touch-up is needed.
Recovery time and follow-up visits vary with the extent of treatment and your individual condition.
FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
The filler was injected long ago. Can it still be removed?
Old filler can be removed too. The process depends on how much it has adhered to the tissue, so we check the extent in consultation.
Won’t the removal site sink in?
The area can sink as volume is lost, so when planning removal we also consider whether restoration is needed. If so, it is filled with your own fat, with timing decided by the tissue’s condition.
Can it all be removed at once?
It depends on how far the material has spread and how much it has attached to tissue. We remove it within the range confirmed by ultrasound while limiting tissue damage, and if some remains, we reassess after watching your progress.
I don't know what was injected. Is that a problem?
Substances of unknown composition are more likely to cause inflammation or hardening, so removal is recommended. Telling us when it was injected and your symptoms helps us decide the approach.
Will a scar remain?
A scar can remain. We keep incisions minimal and place them where they show least. Any remaining scar is cared for at our Scar Clinic.
