For You
Recommended for these concerns
When the existing double eyelid line has thinned or come undone over time and lost its definition
When sagging eyelid skin makes you look tired and heavy
When drooping eyelids block your vision, or you unconsciously tense your forehead and brows to open your eyes
When you want to soften upturned outer corners and narrow eyes into a gentle, open look
BONITA EYE
Behind a clear line, we also look at eye-opening strength
From diamond fixation that does not come undone easily, to safety canthoplasty that opens up confined eyes, to ptosis correction.
About
Diamond Double Eyelid
A natural line with less concern about incision scars, addressing the tendency of buried sutures to come undone
Diamond double eyelid surgery forms the crease without a long incision, firmly securing the line with special sutures and small beads through tiny openings.
It carries less concern about incision scars while creating a line as natural as your own eyes.
Point
BONITA DIAMOND
01
Secure fixation that reduces loosening
It addresses the tendency of simple buried-suture methods to come undone, linking skin and muscle closely at multiple points for better hold.
02
Upper-lid fat refined at the same time
Even if puffy eyelids made you hesitate about non-incisional surgery, excess upper-lid fat can be refined at the same time for noticeably lighter-looking eyes.
Process
Diamond double eyelid: the process
01
STEP.1
The line is designed where the crease should appear.
02
STEP.2
Fine anchoring points are set closely along the crease line.
03
STEP.3
The threads and beads are removed at the time we advise.
About
Safety Canthoplasty (outer & lower canthoplasty)
Opening up the eye's confined horizontal length and softening an upturned outer corner
With a fixation technique built up since 1995, we work to reduce the chance of the opened area closing back up or deforming into a squared bracket shape after surgery, correcting the eyes to a gentle, open look.

Point
BONITA
01
Internal fixation that reduces re-adhesion
If only the skin is cut and stitched, it tends to reattach during healing. The lowered outer corner is firmly secured with dissolvable sutures to reduce recurrence.
02
A C-shaped incision that preserves the curve
A fine C-shaped incision at the outer corner lowers it, gently extending the eye's horizontal length and curve without an artificial look.
03
Incision scar care
Because it involves an incision, many people worry about scarring. The actual progress is shown in the before-and-after photos below.
Process
Safety Canthoplasty
01
STEP.1
The outer corner is designed to suit the shape of your eye
02
STEP.2
The upward direction of the eye is redirected with a C-shaped incision and brought down.
03
STEP.3
The lowered outer corner is fixed with absorbable sutures and closed.
About
Ptosis correction (eye-shape correction)
For sleepy-looking eyes and deepening forehead lines, we start by correcting the strength of the muscle that opens the eye
Ptosis is a condition in which the eyelid covers much of the pupil, either because the muscle that opens the eye (levator palpebrae superioris) is congenitally weak or because its tendon has loosened with age.
Depending on how far the eyelid droops and how thick the skin is, we choose between non-incisional and incisional methods to help restore clearer eyes and a comfortable field of vision.

Point
Ptosis correction
01
A clear, defined look
Eyes that always looked sleepy are corrected for a clearer, more alert impression.
02
Softer forehead lines
Less strain on the forehead when opening the eyes means forehead lines deepen less.
03
Correcting a drooping lid
Treating the drooping lid relieves the way it blocks your field of vision.
Process
Ptosis correction: the process
01
STEP.1
The crease is opened and the drooping skin and muscle are excised.
02
STEP.2
The levator muscle is identified and connected to the skin.
03
STEP.3
The incision is then closed.

Recovery
Right after treatment
There is swelling and bruising, so we explain how to use cold compresses.
During recovery
The stitches are removed, and as swelling goes down the line becomes natural.
As it settles
The final line is confirmed.
Recovery time and follow-up visits vary with the extent of treatment and your individual condition.
FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Doesn't the buried suture method come undone easily?
The buried-suture technique tends to come undone. Diamond Double Eyelid makes up for this by creating the line with thread and beads. The suitable method is decided at consultation based on eyelid thickness and fat.
I'm worried about scars from canthoplasty.
Canthoplasty involves an incision, so many people worry about scarring. You can see the actual progress in the before-and-after photos below.
My double eyelid has come undone. When can I have revision surgery?
We proceed once the tissue has settled after the previous surgery. We identify why it came undone (fixation method, skin laxity or muscle) and choose the method accordingly.
How long is recovery?
When stitches come out and how long swelling lasts depend on the surgical method. If you have important plans, tell us during consultation and we will plan around them.
※ Bleeding, infection, inflammation and other side effects may occur after surgery or treatment. Please decide after a full consultation with your doctor.
