BONITA BODY
Buttock Fat Grafting
Along the line flowing from waist to hips and thighs, your own fat is layered to shape a three-dimensional rear view
Bonita's Approach
A graceful place for volume to stay
Buttock fat grafting is not simply about making the buttocks bigger
Only when the curve from waist to hips and the line falling to the thighs flow together naturally does the silhouette come together, with legs that look long and firm even in clothes

BONITA BODY
Layering your own fat along the line that flows from waist to hips and thighs
For You
Recommended for these concerns
Those whose upper buttocks lack volume, so the hips look droopy overall and the legs look short
Those whose body line is uneven because of hollows at the sides of the hips (hip dips)
Those uneasy about inserting artificial foreign material such as silicone implants or large-volume body fillers
Those who want unwanted fat removed from the waist and thighs, with natural volume added only to flat buttocks
About
the lower-body line Body contouring designed together
We look at the buttocks together with the lower-body line flowing through the waist, hips and thighs.
The shape of the buttocks largely decides the impression a figure gives.
01
Volume from your own fat
It creates a hip line that suits your body, not the artificial shape of an implant.
02
A lifted hip point
When the lower buttock line is lifted, leg proportions look different and the lower body looks longer.
Defining the line: four three-dimensional criteria
Before any fat is grafted, Director Kwang-Seop Chung uses the following four structural criteria to plan precisely where fat is removed, and how much goes into which layer.
01. The starting line from waist to hips: Only when excess fat on the flanks (love handles) and lower back is first carefully suctioned to define the waist do the curves of the hips and buttocks emerge, without grafting an excessive amount of fat.
02. The centre of volume on the upper buttocks: Raising the centre of volume, where the eye rests, lifts buttocks that looked droopy and creates proportions that make the legs look longer.
03. A smooth transition at the sides of the hips (hip dips): The hollows at the sides are smoothly filled so that, seen from the front and at an angle, the sides of the hips do not look sunken with only the outer thighs (saddlebags) sticking out.
04. A firm boundary at the lower buttock line (banana fold): The lower line where the buttocks meet the back of the thighs is neatly refined, so that excessive grafting does not leave the lower buttocks heavy and sagging.

Layered
Layered grafting: built up layer upon layer, not packed in all at once
If a large amount of fat is injected into a small space all at once, oxygen and nutrients cannot reach the centre, so graft survival drops and the fat tends to form hard lumps.
Bonita precisely separates healthy, purified fat cells and fat stem cells from the harvested fat, then uses the ‘Brazilian layered technique’, building them up little by little and closely in several layers within the subcutaneous fat above the fascia.
The method is designed to help the grafted fat settle evenly.
balance is the standard we design by
When the buttocks change, the impression of the whole figure changes too.
An excessive hip-up that doesn't suit the figure can look unnatural instead.
Before surgery, Bonita analyses the figure and considers hip volume together with lower-body proportion.
That is why the standard for Bonita hip-up surgery is balance rather than volume.

Check
What we check first, depending on your condition
If this appliesWhat we check
When the buttocks have sagged and flattened
We first look at the height of the upper hip line and where volume has been lost
When the border between thigh and buttock has blurred
We decide whether to reduce the thigh side or fill above the border
When the sides of the hips look hollow
We see whether to fill the side of the hips as well
When you want a much larger size
We first check that it is within what your figure and transferable fat allow
The buttocks are the center of the figure. Even a small change can alter the whole silhouette. We first decide where to reduce and where to fill.

Recovery, stage by stage
Right after treatment
You wear a compression garment, and swelling and bruising are managed.
During recovery
You keep wearing the compression garment and start with light activity.
As it settles
As swelling subsides, the line emerges. If fat grafting was done too, we check how the fat has settled.
Recovery time and follow-up visits vary with the extent of treatment and your individual condition.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
How much of the grafted fat remains?
Some is absorbed and the engrafted portion remains. We decide the volume allowing for the survival rate, then decide on touch-ups after watching the result.
Can the buttocks be made much bigger?
The range depends on how much fat can be transferred and on your figure. Excessive volume that doesn’t suit your body can look unnatural, so the amount is based on balance with the waist and hips.
Where is the fat taken from?
It is suctioned from areas you want to reduce, such as the waist, love handles, upper arms or thighs, and transferred. We decide together at your consultation where to take it from.
How long do I wear the compression garment?
It depends on the area and extent; we explain how long to wear it before surgery.
※ Bleeding, infection, inflammation and other side effects may occur after surgery or treatment. Please decide after a full consultation with your doctor.
