Recovery

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

If my eye-opening strength is weak, is Upper Blepharoplasty alone enough?
If needed, Ptosis correction is considered at the same time. Sometimes the issue is not only loose skin but weak eye-opening strength, so we check the eye-opening muscle as well as the skin.
Is it better to remove more skin?
Removing too much can actually lead to an unnatural result. We look at both the sagging skin and the eye-opening strength to decide how much to remove.
How long is recovery?
Stitch removal and how long swelling lasts differ from person to person. If you have an important event coming up, please tell us at your consultation and we will plan around it.
