What sets Bonita eye surgery apart

Eyes that look tired or heavy cannot be explained by the crease line alone. Whether the brow has dropped, the eyelid skin has loosened, the muscle has weakened or under-eye fat protrudes, the cause differs and so does the method.

Under-eye fat is repositioned rather than removed to smooth the area without hollowing, and midlife drooping is treated with the method that fits the cause: brow lift, upper or lower blepharoplasty.

Recovery

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Isn't it better to just remove under-eye fat?
Removing fat can make the area look hollow with age. Repositioning is the default, with partial removal added depending on your condition.
My double eyelid has come undone. When can I have revision surgery?
We proceed once the tissue has settled after the previous surgery. We identify why it came undone (fixation method, skin laxity or muscle) and choose the method accordingly.
Will the brow lift scar be visible?
Over time it is hidden by the brow and becomes less visible, because the incision follows the border just above the brow.
How long is recovery?
When stitches come out and how long swelling lasts depend on the surgical method. If you have important plans, tell us during consultation and we will plan around them.
